Parents for AI Caution in Educational Spaces

Welcome to the website of Parents for AI Caution in Educational Spaces!

Generative AI isn’t inevitable. Parents have the right to question how their children are being exposed to generative AI, and to ask critical questions about how AI affects brain development, learning capacity, critical thinking, and educational outcomes.

Here is a collection of research and tools to help you advocate for caution and restraint with AI in PreK-12 education spaces. Start with “The Ask,” browse what the latest research says about AI in preK-12 educational spaces, and then join us in taking action—and let us know how we can help.

2026!

Note: The news on generative AI in education changes more quickly than I can keep track of! Right now, I endeavor to update this site on Wednesdays and Fridays with new information and material. Feel free to send things my way that I may have missed!
